A Shaman's Neurological Perception
Mental and Brain Rejuvenation

Since ancient times, true shamans recognized the existence of a "Total Unified Field" that they did not call that, but which in essence they described as a universal force or energy. Modern science identifies it as "Consciousness", and throughout history it has received various names: heaven, Shangri-La, Valhalla, Jannah, Nirvana, Swarga, the Great Spirit, the divine matrix, the Tao, among others.
Wayne Dyer referred to this essence as "the fountain" For him, this fountain is a mirror in which our mentality and emotional state are reflected. This concept has also been described by Gregg Braden and other authors as the creative core of life.
Shamanic Prayer: Feeling Instead of Asking
In the '90s, Gregg Braden shared a story illustrating the shamanic connection to this source. During a severe drought in the American Southwest, his native friend took him to a sacred place in New Mexico, in a circle of ancient stones, to pray for rain. In silence, the man took off his shoes, called his ancestors and in a few seconds finished his ritual. Surprised, Gregg asked why they hadn't prayed for rain. His friend replied:
"No, because if we pray for rain, it won't rain." "If we pray for rain, we are acknowledging that rain does not exist at that time. Instead, when I close my eyes, I evoke the feeling of how the rain feels in our village. I remember the smell of wet earth and feel my feet sink into the mud. That way, I open the door to the possibility of bringing rain into our world."
That night, against all odds, it rained for several days. The teaching of his shaman friend reveals that prayer is most effective when the desire is felt as if it has already been fulfilled, rather than asking for it from lack.
The Source and Our Beliefs
Wayne Dyer described this "fountain" as the origin of all creation, a field of unlimited abundance. However, he warned that this fountain responds directly to our beliefs. If we approach it convinced of our shortcomings, they will manifest themselves in our reality. If we believe we cannot heal, attract love, or prosperity, Source will project exactly that into our lives. For Dyer, the secret lies in "thinking from the end," that is, in visualizing the state we want as already reached, keeping the peace and avoiding resistance.
"If you go to this source convinced of your shortcomings, it will make your belief come true. Therefore, keep in your mind and heart what you want to see manifested in your life, without clinging to the final result."
The Emotional Nature of Source
Our brain perceives only a part of reality, approximately 25%, and the rest is completed with its own interpretation. If we live in a constant state of anxiety, sadness, or homesickness, we will project those states into our present, and the "magic" of our connection to the source will be limited.
The divine source or matrix is essentially emotional; It responds not only to our words, but to the feelings that accompany our prayers. Gregg Braden says the key is to "feel the feeling as if the prayer has already been answered." This focus activates the forces of creation and establishes a resonance between our mind and that total unified field.
The Key to Mental and Brain Rejuvenation
To achieve a true connection with the source, it is essential to keep our mind clean, free of negative emotions and limiting thoughts. Shamans accomplish this by cultivating a state of inner peace and preventing fear or hopelessness from contaminating their connection to the unified field. It is this mental and emotional purity that allows them to be true guardians of wisdom and spiritual healing.
Our perception and thoughts are energy that, being in tune with the source, shapes our reality. If we decide to change our perception of life and focus on the happy and positive moments, we activate that creative energy in our favor.
Final Thoughts
Remember: whenever we remember only the negative aspects of our life, we ignore the good and happy moments that we have also experienced. What state do you want to focus on from now on? Connect with the source from a place of peace and abundance, rather than lack. What do you think is the path to a full life and rejuvenation of the mind and spirit?
